Developer's reflection: Since embarking on my weight loss journey in June, I have successfully shed 15 pounds by adopting a rather simple yet effective "calorie deficit" strategy. By creating a daily calorie deficit of approximately 500 calories, I have witnessed remarkable results.

Throughout this process, I experimented with various calorie tracking applications, all of which were either inundated with intrusive advertisements or excessively cluttered with unnecessary features. Moreover, the data input procedure for these tools proved intricate. During my weight loss journey, I conceived FoodCa and avidly utilized it myself. It demands minimal time investment but has transformed meal logging into an engaging and eagerly anticipated activity for me. I aspire for it to deliver a similarly enriching experience to you as well.
